2024 Reaffirmation of Accreditation

WSCUC Reaffirmation

In September 2024, UC Berkeley will have its institutional accreditation review by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). What has been a two year self-review and reflection process that resulted in this institutional report submitted to WSCUC in June 2024, now culminates with a three day campus-site visit by a Peer Evaluation Team on September 25 - 27. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in the visit and provide feedback either by attending visit sessions and/or submitting comments to WSCUC:

1. Attend a scheduled stakeholder meeting and provide your feedback directly to the WSCUC Peer Evaluation Team - A series of meetings with the team are scheduled, including open forums and one-on-one meetings. The open forums will include time for faculty, staff, and students to meet with the WSCUC Peer Evaluation Team and respond to their questions about your experiences of the campus. 2. Submit your comments and input to WSCUC directly by emailing: berkeley@wscuc.org - WSCUC understands that not everyone who may wish to participate can attend these meetings and has established a confidential email account to give everyone the opportunity to communicate with the team. The email account is managed by WSCUC staff and only authorized WSCUC staff and team members have access to it. Messages received at this email address are not viewed by any representative of UC Berkeley. Only comments made before or during the visit will be considered as part of the review process.
