The Council on Advising and Student Success (CASS), formerly Advising Council, was formed in 2012 to better coordinate campus advising to improve the student experience at UC Berkeley. Today CASS promotes the craft, quality, and consistency of student support across the undergraduate, graduate, and professional student experience. The council is co-chaired by the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and the Vice Provost for Graduate Studies and Dean of the Graduate Division.
