Session Abstract
Talking heads the world over keep on arguing that markets do best absent government regulation. Evidence suggests the contrary. In this talk, Professor Max will outline how market failures and inadequate government intervention are responsible for unprecedented environmental degradation at a global scale. He will also talk about solutions to these issues, which were cooked up by economists right here at Cal.
