The Fall 2025 Pulse Survey #2 is now open
This Pulse Survey asks for your thoughts on your experiences around generative AI policies, housing insecurity, and mental health. A link to the Pulse Survey is below and appears as a task in CalCentral. The survey results are private and will only be displayed in the aggregate. The last day to submit your responses is Friday, October 31, 2025.

Results from Fall 2025 Pulse Survey #1
- About one-third of undergraduates had used the Student Learning Center, 58% had heard of it but had not used their services, and 11% had not heard of the SLC.

Get an intro to the SLC and learn about the wide range of programs and specific courses supported, including upper division courses. One-on-one academic coaching, small-group tutoring, topic/exam reviews, research writing consultations, and cultural programming are available. All undergraduates are welcome—and all services are free!

41% of undergraduate students and 27% of graduate students used the Recreational Sports Facility at least once a week. However, over a quarter (27%) of undergraduates and almost half (47%) of graduate students rarely or never used the RSF.

RSF is free for all students and offers something for everyone including climbing,swimming,table tennis,pickleball, and fitness classes. RecWell offers inclusive recreation as wellness is for everyone.

17% of undergraduate students and 13% of graduate students had encountered a situation where lack of financial resources kept them from having access to food.

The Basic Needs Center supports students with food, housing, and financial stability resources, and connects students to other essential services to ensure their well-being and academic success.
