Dear Students:
It is with great excitement that we join President Biden and UC President Drake in celebrating the Juneteenth national holiday. UC Berkeley will observe this holiday on Monday, June 28. All administrative offices will be closed and instruction will be suspended for that day.
If you are enrolled in a course during Summer Sessions A, B, or C, and have not yet received information on how course material originally scheduled for June 28 will be handled, please communicate directly with your instructor.
For more information on the adoption of Juneteenth as an official UC holiday, please see UC President Drake’s announcement.
Best Regards,
