Extraordinary Teaching in Extraordinary Times Award Recipients

The Academic Senate’s Committee on Teaching is pleased to announce the recipients of UC Berkeley’s Extraordinary Teaching in Extraordinary Times Award. The awardees include individuals from 32 departments representing a range of disciplines and academic areas as well as teams composed of faculty, graduate, and undergraduate student instructors. The recipients’ names and departments and brief descriptions of their efforts and innovations can be found on the Extraordinary Teaching in Extraordinary Times webpage. We extend hearty congratulations to these awardees.

The Committee received nearly 500 nominations for this award, signifying how our campus community embraced the instructional challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that our students remain engaged and supported under these extraordinary circumstances.
