Creative Projects as Political Possibility Workshop - April 20/April 21

April 12, 2021

Dear Colleagues:

As we engage with the work of anti-racism and equity-based learning, what concrete examples are available and what strategies are necessary to create anti-racism and equity-based pedagogy in the classroom?

Creative Projects as Political Possibility, a workshop offered by the American Cultures Center, will present an overview of the Creative Discovery Student Hub, an open bCourses site created as a support portal for interweaving creative, digital storytelling and anti-racism pedagogy. The workshop will provide intimate spaces to discuss teaching strategies and creative assignment development in relationship to how they might weave the Creative Discovery Student Hub into course design.

We will be hosting the same workshop on two different dates:

  • Tuesday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Wednesday, April 21 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Please register by Friday, April 16 (open until capacity is reached). For any questions, please contact knham@berkeley.edu.

Sincerely,

Catherine P. Koshland
Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Education
