Dear campus community,
The Academic Senate’s Committee on Teaching is currently accepting nominations for the 2024 Distinguished Teaching Award, the highest teaching award on the Berkeley campus. We write to strongly encourage you to nominate someone for this prestigious award.
This year, the nomination may be initiated by anyone in a department—including students, staff, or faculty—by submitting a 300-word nomination and identifying information in the 2024 UC Berkeley Distinguished Teaching Award Stage 1 Nomination Form.
Nomination forms must be submitted by the Stage 1 deadline of Friday, September 15, 2023. Departments of nominees will be asked to provide minimal additional information by September 29. Award recipients will be announced in early March 2024 and recognized at a ceremony in April 2024. A full description of the award process is available on the DTA website.
