We are excited to announce a spring course that promises to celebrate all that is UC Berkeley. Whether you’re new to campus, in your final semester of undergrad, or in graduate school, this course is not to be missed! Here are three reasons why you should enroll in Brilliance of Berkeley.
- Exceptional Instructors: You’ll hear 28 guest lectures from Nobel laureates, MacArthur “genius” fellows, and other notable scholars. Each lecture will introduce you to diverse fields of study and wisdom, with time to ask questions of esteemed faculty members and learn more about how they came to excel in their research.
- Add an easy, interesting unit to your course load: Brilliance of Berkeley is a 1-unit (P/NP) class with no midterms or final, and only about an hour of work outside of class per week.
- Flexibility and Accessibility: You can join in person on Fridays from 12-2 p.m. in VLSB 2040, or the course can be taken completely online through video streaming. Many speakers are available after their lectures for one-on-one introductions if you attend in person.
