The Golden Bear Orientation (GBO) Steering Committee is responsible for governance and oversight of Golden Bear Experience, UC Berkeley’s new student transition program.
Co-chaired by the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, the GBO Steering Committee develops the goals, timelines, financial models, working groups, and technology needed to continuously improve Golden Bear Experience and provide incoming students with a common experience that welcomes students to the scholarly life of Berkeley.
